    GERBISA SUPPO CHILD

Gerbisa Child Suppository 5's is a stimulant laxative containing Bisacodyl, designed for short-term relief of constipation in children. It works by stimulating bowel movements within 10 to 30 minutes of rectal administration. The suppository should be used as directed by a physician and is typically recommended for children under 10 years of age. It is important to avoid use in cases of severe dehydration, gastrointestinal blockage, or inflammatory conditions. Common side effects may include abdominal discomfort and diarrhea. Proper storage and adherence to medical advice ensure safe and effective usage.

    Product Highlights and Usage:

Active Ingredient: Contains Bisacodyl 5 mg. Purpose: Provides short-term relief from occasional constipation in children. Usage: Rectal administration via suppository, typically recommended by a physician. Precautions: Not suitable for children with severe dehydration, gastrointestinal obstruction, or inflammatory bowel diseases. Side Effects: Common side effects include abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, and dizziness.

    Directions for use:

ALWAYS USE THIS MEDICINE EXACTLY AS DIRECTED BY YOUR DOCTOR Remove the foil wrapping. Lie on one side with your knees drawn up towards your chest, keeping one leg more bent than the other. Use your index or middle finger to insert the suppository gently. Push the suppository as far as possible into your rectum, with the pointed end first. Once it is inserted as far as it will go, push it sideways to ensure it touches the bowel wall. Lower your legs to a comfortable position and retain the suppository in place for at least 30 minutes. If you feel it might come out immediately, it may not be inserted high enough—push it in as far as possible. Try to hold it in for the full 30 minutes, even if you urgently need to use the toilet, as this is necessary for it to work on constipation. CHILDREN UNDER 10 YEARS GERBISA should only be used in children if recommended by a doctor. The usual dose is one 5 mg suppository for immediate effect. Only use one suppository per day for bowel clearance before surgery, X-rays, or other tests. GERBISA should not be used daily for more than 5 days. If daily use is needed or if you experience persistent abdominal pain, consult your doctor. IF YOU TAKE MORE GERBISA If you have taken more GERBISA than recommended, contact a doctor or go to the hospital immediately. IF YOU FORGOT TO TAKE GERBISA Do not take a double dose to compensate for a missed dose. If you remember a missed dose, take it as soon as possible. If your next dose is due within 2 hours, take it now and skip the next scheduled dose. IF YOU STOP TAKING GERBISA Do not stop taking GERBISA without your doctor’s advice.
