Ambistryn-S 1gm Injection is an antibiotic used in the treatment of tuberculosis, in combination with other medicines. It works by stopping the growth of tubercular bacteria. Rarely, it may also be used to treat some other types of infections. Ambistryn-S 1gm Injection is given as an injection directly into a muscle under the supervision of a healthcare professional. It should be used regularly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening. This medicine may cause a skin rash, vomiting, fever, and vertigo as side effects. Therefore, please follow all the instructions given by your doctor while using this medicine. Your doctor may monitor you with regular kidney function tests, hearing tests, and urine tests during treatment. Consult your doctor if your condition does not improve or if any of the side effects bother you. Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as this medicine may cause dizziness. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.

Warning & Precaution:
Safety Advice: Alcohol: It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Ambistryn-S 1gm Injection. Please consult your doctor. Pregnancy: Ambistryn-S 1gm Injection is not recommended during pregnancy as there is positive evidence of fetal risk based on animal studies. However, it may still be prescribed by a doctor in situations where the benefits outweigh the risks. Breast feeding: Ambistryn-S 1gm Injection should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body. Driving: Ambistryn-S 1gm Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Kidney: Ambistryn-S 1gm Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
