How it works:
POWERGESIC MR TABLET helps to manage pain. Chlorzoxazone, a muscle relaxant, acts on the brain and spinal cord, causing muscle relaxation and pain relief. Diclofenac, an NSAID, inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, blocking the production of prostaglandins responsible for pain. Paracetamol, an analgesic, increases the pain threshold by inhibiting COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes. Together, these components effectively relieve pain.
Directions for use:
Take this medicine as advised by your physician. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew it.

PREGANCY POWERGESIC MR TABLET is generally not recommended for use during pregnancy. Contact your doctor before taking it. BREASTFEEDING POWERGESIC MR TABLET is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it may pass through breast milk. Contact your doctor before taking it. DRIVING AND USING MACHINES Do not drive or operate any machines if you experience visual disturbances, dizziness, vertigo, somnolence, drowsiness, or fatigue after taking POWERGESIC MR TABLET. ALCOHOL Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking POWERGESIC MR TABLET as it may lead to unwanted effects. KODNEY POWERGESIC MR TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney disease and should be used with caution in mild to moderate kidney disease. Contact your doctor before taking it. LIVER POWERGESIC MR TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver disease and should be used with caution in mild to moderate liver disease. Contact your doctor before taking it. ALLERGY Do not take POWERGESIC MR TABLET if you are allergic to chlorzoxazone, diclofenac sodium, acetylsalicylic acid, other NSAIDs, misoprostol, other prostaglandins, paracetamol, lactose, or any other ingredients of this medicine. LUNGS POWERGESIC MR TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with nasal polyps, rhinitis, asthma precipitated by aspirin (aspirin-sensitive asthma), or other NSAIDs, and should be used with caution in patients with pre-existing asthma and COPD. Contact your doctor before taking it. HEART DISEASE POWERGESIC MR TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe congestive heart failure, ischemic heart disease (heart attack), or blockages of blood vessels to the heart, and should be used with caution in patients with high blood pressure and mild to moderate heart failure.
