Agoprex Tablet helps treat depression. It reduces and gradually eliminates the symptoms of depression such as deep sadness, feelings of worthlessness, loss of interest in activities, sleep disturbances, tiredness, feelings of anxiety, and weight changes. Agoprex Tablet may be taken with or without food preferably at bedtime. However, it is advised to take it at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the blood. If you have missed any doses, take it as soon as you remember and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not stop taking it suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms. Some common side effects of this medicine include headache, nausea, fatigue, anxiety, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), and back pain. Other side effects that may also be observed are stomach pain, changes in body weight, diarrhea, and increased liver enzymes. However, these are temporary and usually resolve on their own in some time. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or worry you. It even causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Before taking this medicine, please tell your doctor if you suffer from any liver problems or diabetes. If you have been taking this medicine for a long time, regular monitoring of blood and liver functions may be required. Be vigilant about unusual darkening or any changes in the color of your urine, light-colored stools, yellowing of skin or eyes, pain in the upper right part of your stomach, and unusual fatigue as this could be signs of liver problems. It is important to inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.

Safety Advice: Alcohol: Alcohol should be used with caution while taking Agoprex Tablet. Pregnancy: Agoprex Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy as there is positive evidence of fetal risk based on animal studies. However, it may still be prescribed by a doctor in situations where the benefits outweigh the risks. Breast feeding: Agoprex Tablet may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor. Driving: Agoprex Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Kidney: Agoprex Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Liver: Agoprex Tablet is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
