Ambrican 5 Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high pressure in the blood vessels that carry blood from the heart to the lungs). It can even help improve your quality of life, exercise ability, and delay disease progression. Ambrican 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. In case you missed a dose, take another one as soon as you remember it. Take it for as long as it is prescribed and do not stop taking the medicine on your own. The most common side effects of this medicine are peripheral edema, nasal congestion, sinusitis, and flushing. Let your doctor know if any of these side effects bother you or persist for a longer duration. Dizziness may also occur in some people, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus if you experience such a symptom. Before receiving the treatment, inform your doctor if you are on any medication for any other health condition. It should be used with caution in patients with liver or kidney disease. Attend regular follow-ups as advised by the doctor.

How it works:
Ambrican 5 Tablet is an endothelin receptor blocker. It blocks the action of endothelin (a natural substance) that causes blood vessels to narrow (constrict). This narrowing increases the pressure in the blood vessels of the lungs. Ambrican 5 Tablet helps relax these blood vessels and increases the supply of blood to the lungs.
Directions for use:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ambrican 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food.
Warning & Precaution:
Safety Advice: Alcohol: It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Ambrican 5 Tablet. Please consult your doctor. Pregnancy: Ambrican 5 Tablet is highly unsafe during pregnancy. It can cause serious harm to the unborn baby, including birth defects and pregnancy loss. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Breast feeding: Information regarding the use of Ambrican 5 Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor. Driving: Ambrican 5 Tablet may cause dizziness or weakness due to changes in blood pressure. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Kidney: Ambrican 5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
Limited information is available on use of Ambrican 5 Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease. Liver: Ambrican 5 Tablet is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
