This medicine is used to treat many different types of infections such as those of the brain (meningitis), lungs (pneumonia), ear, abdomen, urinary tract, bones and joints, skin, blood, and heart. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
How it works:
Kindcef 50mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. By doing so, this medicine stops the infection-causing bacteria from growing further and prevents the infection from spreading without making the bacteria resistant to further treatment.
Warning & Precaution:
Safety Advice: Kidney: Kindcef 50mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
However, dose modifications may be required in children with severe kidney disease. Liver: Kindcef 50mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment is recommended.
