How it works:
ATEN AM 50MG TABLET contains amlodipine and atenolol. Atenolol blocks the effects of hormones like adrenaline that increase heart rate, slowing the heartbeat and reducing the force of blood pumping. DRIVING AND USING MACHINES USE WITH CAUTION:Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you feel dizzy after taking ATEN AM 50MG TABLET. ALCOHOL CONTRAINDICATED:Avoid alcohol consumption while taking ATEN AM 50MG TABLET as it could make you feel dizzier. KIDNEY USE WITH CAUTION:ATEN AM 50MG TABLET should be used cautiously in patients with kidney problems (such as those undergoing dialysis). Consult your doctor before taking it. LIVER USE WITH CAUTION:ATEN AM 50MG TABLET should be used cautiously in patients with liver problems. Consult your doctor before taking it. ALLERGY CONTRAINDICATED:Do not take ATEN AM 50MG TABLET if you are allergic to Atenolol, Amlodipine, or to any other beta blockers (such as propranolol) or calcium antagonists (such as nifedipine, diltiazem). LUNGS USE WITH CAUTION:ATEN AM 50MG TABLET should be used cautiously in patients who have or previously had any breathing problems such as asthma. Consult your doctor before taking it.
