How it works:
Kezone S Forte Injection is a combination of two medicines: Cefoperazone and Sulbactam. Cefoperazone is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefoperazone against bacteria.

Safety Advice: Alcohol: Consumption of alcohol with Kezone S Forte Injection may cause a disulfiram-like reaction, leading to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, low blood pressure, nausea, lightheadedness, and severe headache. Pregnancy: The safety of Kezone S Forte Injection during pregnancy has not been established. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, and animal data on reproductive toxicity are insufficient. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing. Breast feeding: Kezone S Forte Injection should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body. Driving: Kezone S Forte Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive. Kidney: Kezone S Forte Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
