Do not eat within 3 to 4 hours of going to bed. Stomach ulcers Stomach ulcers are painful sores that develop in the inner lining of the stomach or gut (intestine). Stocaine Suspension reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes which prevents further damage to the ulcer as it heals naturally. You may be given other medicines along with this medicine depending on what caused the ulcer. You need to keep taking Stocaine Suspension as prescribed by the doctor for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear.

How it works:

Stocaine Suspension is a combination of a local anesthetic (Oxetacaine) and two antacids (Aluminium Hydroxide and Magnesium). The anesthetic provides fast relief from pain due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach on account of its numbing effect. The antacids neutralize the excess acid in stomach, thereby relieving acidity and heartburn.

Directions for use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Stocaine Suspension is to be taken empty stomach.
