It is used to treat headaches, migraines, toothaches, sore throats, period (menstrual) pains, arthritis, muscle aches, and the common cold. D COLD SYRUP may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Warning & Precaution:
Safety Advice: Alcohol: It is unsafe to consume alcohol with D COLD SYRUP
Pregnancy: D COLD SYRUP is safe to use during pregnancy. Most studies have shown low or no risk to the developing baby.
Breast feeding: Available human data suggest that the drug does not pass into breast milk in clinically significant amounts and is unlikely to harm the infant.
Driving: D COLD SYRUP does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney: D COLD SYRUP should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
However, D COLD SYRUP contains paracetamol which is considered the safest painkiller for kidney disease patients.
Liver: D COLD SYRUP should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
However, the use of D COLD SYRUP is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
