It helps loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. It also shrinks the blood vessels and provides rapid relief that lasts for several hours. These actions make breathing easier. Sleepwell Syrup is safe and effective. It usually starts to work within a few minutes, and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it as prescribed by your doctor, and do not stop using it unless you are advised otherwise.

How it works:

Sleepwell Syrup contains two active ingredients: paracetamol, and promethazine. These ingredients together relieve common cold symptoms. Promethazine is an antiallergic that relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever.

Warning & Precaution:

Safety Advice: Kidney: Sleepwell Syrup should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
However, caution is advised in patients with severe kidney disease as it may cause excessive sleepiness in them. Liver: Sleepwell Syrup is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
