Cataspa Tablet contains Diclofenac and Dicyclomine, used to treat various types of colic pain, postoperative pain, and uterine irritation. Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces inflammation and pain by inhibiting cyclooxygenase, a chemical involved in producing inflammation. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic that helps relax muscle spasms in the stomach and intestines by acting on acetylcholine receptors and smooth muscles directly. This combination is effective in relieving severe pain due to stones, postoperative pain, and dysmenorrhea. The tablet should be swallowed whole, not crushed or chewed, and taken as directed by a healthcare professional.
