Dafadros Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive containing Drospirenone and Ethinyl Estradiol, which prevent pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation, altering the uterine lining to prevent implantation, and thickening cervical mucus to block sperm entry. It is used daily as prescribed by a healthcare provider, ideally at the same time each day. Common side effects include nausea, breast tenderness, and headache. It is not suitable for individuals with a history of certain health conditions, including breast cancer, liver disease, or blood clots. Smoking increases cardiovascular risks, especially in women over 35.

How it works:

Additionally, they can modify the thickness of cervical mucus, hindering sperm entry into the uterus and fertilization of the egg. This creates an unfavorable environment for achieving pregnancy successfully.
Directions for use:
Take DAFADROS TABLET exactly as prescribed by your physician. Swallow it with a glass of water without crushing or chewing. You can take DAFADROS TABLET with or without food, but try to take it at the same time each day. Ensure you do not miss any doses during your treatment regimen, as this may reduce its effectiveness. If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Avoid doubling up on doses to make up for a missed one, as this may cause bleeding or spotting. Your doctor will determine the correct dose and duration of therapy based on your age, body weight, and health condition.
Warning & Precaution:
PREGNANCY DAFADROS TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women or in those who suspect they may be pregnant. It should also be avoided by women who have or have had jaundice during pregnancy. Use caution if you have experienced pregnancy-related conditions such as melasma (golden brown patches on the face), hearing loss, porphyria, skin itching with rash and blisters, or Sydenham's chorea. Consult your doctor before taking it. BREASTFEEDING DAFADROS TABLET is contraindicated for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it. DRIVING AND USING MACHINES Use DAFADROS TABLET with caution and avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you experience dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness, or blurred vision after taking it. ALCOHOL Consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking DAFADROS TABLET. KIDNEY DAFADROS TABLET is contraindicated for use in patients with kidney diseases such as kidney failure. Consult your doctor before taking it. LIVER Consult your doctor before using DAFADROS TABLET if you have or have had liver diseases such as liver tumors. Use caution if you have gall bladder problems. ALLERGY DAFADROS TABLET is contraindicated if you are allergic to Drospirenone or Ethinyl Estradiol. LUNGS DAFADROS TABLET is contraindicated for use in patients with blood clots in the lungs (pulmonary embolism). Consult your doctor before taking it. HEART DISEASE DAFADROS TABLET is contraindicated for use in patients with heart diseases such as heart attack, stroke, angina, mini stroke, or uncontrolled high blood pressure. Consult your doctor before taking it. USE IN PEDIATRICS Use DAFADROS TABLET with caution in post-pubertal female children under 18 years old.
