    LEVOFLOX INFUSION

Levoflox Infusion 100ml contains Levofloxacin, a potent broad-spectrum antibiotic used to manage various bacterial infections including those of the lungs (e.g., ventilator-associated pneumonia), urinary tract (including kidneys and bladder), prostate gland, skin, and soft tissues. It is also employed to reduce the risk of anthrax or prevent its progression after exposure. Administered intravenously by a healthcare professional, it works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase, thereby preventing bacterial replication. Common side effects include headache, dizziness, nausea, and reactions at the injection site. This medication is not suitable for individuals with a history of epilepsy, tendon issues, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

    Product Highlights and Usage:

Active Ingredient: Contains Levofloxacin, a broad-spectrum antibiotic. Primary Use: Treats bacterial infections of the lungs, urinary tract, prostate gland, skin, and soft tissue. Additional Use: Reduces the risk of developing or worsening anthrax after exposure. Administration: Given intravenously by a healthcare professional. Precautions: Not recommended for individuals with epilepsy, tendon issues, or those pregnant or breastfeeding.

    How it works:

LEVOFLOX INFUSION operates by inhibiting DNA gyrase, an enzyme pivotal in bacterial DNA synthesis. This mechanism leads to the dismantling of bacterial cell structure, effectively managing bacterial infections in affected individuals.
