How it works:

Directions for use:
Take YASMIN TABLET exactly as prescribed by your physician. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water without crushing or chewing it. YASMIN TABLET can be taken with or without food. Aim to take it at the same time every day. Do not skip any doses of YASMIN TABLET, as this can reduce its effectiveness. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Avoid taking a double dose to make up for the missed one, as this may cause bleeding or spotting. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration of therapy based on your age, body weight, and health condition.
Warning & Precaution:
PREGNANCY YASMIN TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women or those who think they might be pregnant. It is also not advised for women who have or have had jaundice due to pregnancy. Use with caution in women who developed pregnancy patches (golden brown patches on the face), hearing loss, porphyria, skin itching with rash and blisters, or sudden movements of the body (Sydenham’s chorea) during pregnancy or after using certain sex hormones. Consult your doctor before taking it. BREASTFEEDING YASMIN TABLET is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it. DRIVING AND USING MACHINES Do not drive or operate heavy machinery if you experience dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness, or blurred vision after taking YASMIN TABLET. ALCOHOL Avoid consuming alcohol while taking YASMIN TABLET. KIDNEY YASMIN TABLET is not recommended for patients with kidney diseases (such as kidney failure). Consult your doctor before taking it. LIVER YASMIN TABLET is not recommended for patients with liver diseases (such as liver tumors). Use with caution in patients with gall bladder problems. Consult your doctor before taking it. ALLERGY Do not take YASMIN TABLET if you are allergic to Drospirenone or Ethinyl Estradiol. LUNGS YASMIN TABLET is not recommended for patients with blood clots in the lungs (pulmonary embolism). Consult your doctor before taking it. HEART DISEASE YASMIN TABLET is not recommended for patients who have or have had heart diseases (such as heart attack, stroke, angina, mini-stroke, or uncontrolled high blood pressure). Consult your doctor before taking it. USE IN PEDIATRICS YASMIN TABLET should be used with caution in post-pubertal female children under 18 years old. It is not intended for use in male children or in female children who have not attained puberty. Consult your doctor before taking it. USE IN GERIATRICS YASMIN TABLET should be used with caution in elderly women. Consult your doctor before taking it.
