How it works:
ESTRO PLUS TABLET is an oral contraceptive medication designed to prevent unwanted or unplanned pregnancies. It contains Dienogest and Estradiol, synthetic forms of progesterone and estrogen respectively. These hormones work in tandem to suppress ovulation by inhibiting the hormone responsible for egg release from the ovaries. Additionally, they induce changes in the uterine lining and cervical mucus, making it challenging for sperm to enter the uterus and fertilize an egg. The tablet also contains Progestin, which helps manage heavy menstrual bleeding. Furthermore, ESTRO PLUS TABLET reduces testosterone levels, which in turn decreases sebum production and helps manage acne formation.
Directions for use:
Take ESTRO PLUS TABLET exactly as prescribed by your physician. It is crucial not to miss any doses during the course of treatment as this may affect its effectiveness. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, and you can take it with or without food. Do not crush or chew the medicine. If you happen to miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Warning & Precaution:
PREGNANCY ESTRO PLUS TABLET is contraindicated for use in pregnant women and those suspected to be pregnant. It is also not recommended if you have or have had cholestasis of pregnancy (jaundice due to pregnancy). Use caution in women in the postpartum period and those with pregnancy patches (golden brown patches on the face). Consult your doctor before taking it. DRIVING AND USING MACHINES Use ESTRO PLUS TABLET with caution and avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you experience side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness, or blurred vision. ALCOHOL Avoid alcohol consumption while taking ESTRO PLUS TABLET. KIDNEY ESTRO PLUS TABLET is contraindicated for use in patients with kidney diseases (kidney failure). Consult your doctor before taking it. LIVER Consult your doctor before using ESTRO PLUS TABLET if you have or have had liver diseases such as liver tumors or hepatitis C. Use caution in patients with gall bladder disease. ALLERGY Do not take ESTRO PLUS TABLET if you are allergic to Dienogest or Ethinyl Estradiol. LUNGS ESTRO PLUS TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with blood clots in the lungs (pulmonary embolism). Consult your doctor before taking it. HEART DISEASE ESTRO PLUS TABLET is contraindicated for use in patients with heart diseases such as heart attack, stroke, angina, mini-stroke, uncontrolled high blood pressure, and high cholesterol levels.
