How it works:
PEPTARD 20MG TABLET is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach by blocking the actions of an enzyme called H+ K+ ATPase (proton pump) located in the stomach lining. As a result, it decreases the likelihood of acid reflux into the esophagus, heals peptic ulcers and esophageal lesions, and helps manage their recurrence.
Directions for use:
Take PEPTARD 20MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew it. It is preferably taken in the morning or before meals at any time of the day. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration of therapy based on your age, body weight, and medical condition.

Consult your doctor before taking it. ALLERGY Do not take PEPTARD 20MG TABLET if you are allergic to Rabeprazole or other proton pump inhibitors, such as omeprazole or esomeprazole.
