500 Tablet combines Dapagliflozin (10 mg) and Metformin (500 mg) to provide effective management of Type 2 diabetes mellitus. Dapagliflozin helps lower blood sugar by promoting glucose excretion via urine, while Metformin decreases glucose production in the liver. This combination is typically prescribed when other medications do not provide adequate blood sugar control. The tablet should be taken orally once daily, as directed by a healthcare provider. It is important to follow dietary and exercise recommendations alongside this medication. Patients with severe kidney or liver disease, recent heart attack, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult their doctor before use. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and loss of appetite. Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels and kidney function is advised while using this medication.
