Dapanorm Trio Tablet combines Dapagliflozin, Metformin, and Sitagliptin to provide comprehensive management of Type 2 diabetes mellitus. This medication helps control blood sugar levels through multiple mechanisms: Dapagliflozin increases urinary glucose excretion, Metformin reduces glucose production in the liver and increases insulin sensitivity, and Sitagliptin enhances insulin release while reducing glucose production. Typically taken once daily, this combination is effective when diet and exercise alone are insufficient to manage blood sugar. Patients with severe kidney or liver issues, heart failure, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult their healthcare provider before use. Common side effects include hypoglycemia, nausea, vomiting, headache, and increased urination.
Formulation: Contains Dapagliflozin (10 mg), Metformin (500 mg), and Sitagliptin (100 mg). Indications: Used to manage Type 2 diabetes mellitus. Usage: Taken orally once daily, as prescribed by a healthcare provider. Precautions: Not recommended for patients with severe kidney or liver disease, heart failure, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding without medical advice. Side Effects: Common side effects include low blood sugar, nausea, vomiting, headache, flatulence, genital infections, and increased urination.
DAPANORM TRIO Tablet combines dapagliflozin, metformin, and sitagliptin. Dapagliflozin works by inhibiting the reabsorption of glucose in the kidneys, which increases urinary glucose excretion and lowers blood glucose levels. Metformin reduces the amount of glucose absorbed from food and decreases glucose production by the liver. It also enhances the body’s response to insulin, a hormone that regulates blood glucose levels. Sitagliptin helps control blood sugar by increasing incretin levels, which prompts the pancreas to release more insulin, and signals the liver to stop producing excess glucose when blood sugar levels are high.
