Dilnip T 40 Tablet is a combination medication used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. It contains Cilnidipine, a calcium channel blocker, and Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor antagonist. This combination works by relaxing blood vessels, reducing blood pressure, and improving blood flow. Cilnidipine inhibits calcium ion influx, preventing the contraction of blood vessels, while Telmisartan prevents the binding of angiotensin-II, promoting vasodilation. The tablet should be taken as prescribed, usually once daily, swallowed whole with water. Common side effects include dizziness, headache, flushing, and rash. It is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver impairment, advanced aortic stenosis, or primary aldosteronism. Consult a healthcare provider before use, especially if you have underlying health conditions.
Active Ingredients: Contains Cilnidipine (10 mg) and Telmisartan (40 mg). Uses: Treats essential hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults. Mechanism: Cilnidipine blocks calcium channels to reduce blood vessel contraction; Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels by inhibiting angiotensin-II. Dosage: Taken as prescribed by a healthcare provider, typically swallowed whole with water. Side Effects: Common side effects include dizziness, headache, flushing, and rash.
DILNIP T 40 TABLET helps lower high blood pressure. Cilnidipine works by blocking calcium entry into blood vessels, which reduces their contraction and lowers blood pressure. Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels by inhibiting the effects of angiotensin-II, leading to reduced blood pressure.
