Ziglim M1 Tablet is a combination medication containing Glimepiride and Metformin, used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus. Glimepiride increases insulin secretion from the pancreas, helping lower blood glucose levels. Metformin, a biguanide, reduces glucose production in the liver and enhances the body's sensitivity to insulin, leading to better glucose control. This dual-action approach is particularly beneficial for patients who do not achieve adequate glycemic control with diet, exercise, and single-agent therapy. The tablet form ensures ease of use, making it a convenient option for daily diabetes management. Regular use under medical supervision can significantly improve blood sugar levels and overall health.
Dual Action: Combines Glimepiride and Metformin for effective blood sugar management. Insulin Stimulation: Glimepiride increases insulin release from the pancreas. Glucose Control: Metformin reduces glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity. Type 2 Diabetes Management: Ideal for patients where diet, exercise, and single therapy are insufficient. Convenient Dosage: Easy-to-take tablet form for daily use.
ZIGLIM M1 TABLET helps regulate blood glucose levels. Glimepiride functions by stimulating the pancreas to release more insulin, which reduces blood glucose. Metformin works by decreasing glucose production in the liver, slowing glucose absorption from the intestine, and enhancing the body's sensitivity to insulin.
