Dynaglipt-M Tablet is a combination antidiabetic medication containing Metformin and Teneligliptin, prescribed to manage type II diabetes mellitus. Metformin enhances the body’s sensitivity to insulin and decreases hepatic glucose production, while Teneligliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor, increases insulin secretion and lowers blood glucose levels. This dual-action helps in better glycemic control. Patients are advised to take this medication orally, preferably after meals, with water, and avoid crushing or chewing it. Common side effects include hypoglycemia, gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, and altered taste. Patients with severe kidney, liver, or heart conditions should use this medication cautiously, and it is not recommended for those with type I diabetes or severe infections. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their healthcare provider before use. Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels and kidney function is essential during treatment.
Combination Therapy: Contains Metformin and Teneligliptin, used to manage type II diabetes mellitus. Mechanism of Action: Metformin improves insulin sensitivity and decreases glucose production; Teneligliptin enhances insulin secretion by inhibiting the DPP-4 enzyme. Usage: Take orally, preferably after meals, as advised by a physician. Common Side Effects: Hypoglycemia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and headache. Precautions: Not suitable for patients with severe kidney, liver, or heart problems; consult a doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.
DYNAGLIPT M TABLET is an antidiabetic medicine that contains two medications: metformin and teneligliptin. Metformin enhances the body's sensitivity to insulin, a hormone involved in glucose metabolism, allowing body cells to utilize more circulating blood glucose. Additionally, it inhibits glucose production by the liver and reduces its absorption in the body. Teneligliptin regulates blood sugar levels by inhibiting the enzyme dipeptidyl peptidase (DPP)-4, which decreases insulin secretion in the body. Together, DYNAGLIPT M TABLET manages blood sugar levels and improves glycemic control in patients with type II diabetes.
