Envas 5mg Tablet is a prescription medication containing Enalapril Maleate, a potent ACE inhibitor, used to manage hypertension and heart failure. It works by inhibiting the angiotensin-converting enzyme, which causes blood vessels to relax and lowers blood pressure, thereby reducing the strain on the heart. Patients are advised to take the tablet as prescribed, with or without food, and to avoid crushing or chewing it. Common side effects include dizziness, headache, and nausea. It's crucial to inform the doctor about any existing liver, kidney, or heart conditions before starting the medication. This medicine is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to potential risks to the fetus and infant. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, blood sugar, and electrolytes is necessary to avoid adverse effects.
Active Ingredient: Contains Enalapril Maleate 5 mg, an ACE inhibitor used for managing hypertension and heart failure. Mechanism of Action: Blocks the angiotensin-converting enzyme, leading to relaxed blood vessels and reduced blood pressure. Usage Instructions: Take as directed by a physician, with or without food, without crushing or chewing. Precautions: Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those with severe kidney or liver impairment. Common Side Effects: May include dizziness, headache, nausea, and changes in taste.
ENVAS 5MG TABLET effectively lowers blood pressure and alleviates symptoms of heart failure. It functions by inhibiting the enzyme angiotensin-converting enzyme, which typically causes blood vessels to narrow and blood pressure to rise. By blocking this enzyme, ENVAS 5MG TABLET helps relax the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more freely and with less pressure. Additionally, it enhances blood flow and oxygen delivery to the heart muscles, reducing strain on the heart, improving its function, and managing the risk of heart failure.
Take ENVAS 5MG TABLET as directed by your physician. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew it. ENVAS 5MG TABLET can be taken with or without food. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage and duration of treatment based on your age, weight, and medical condition. Do not discontinue ENVAS 5MG TABLET unless instructed to do so by your doctor.
PREGNANCY ENVAS 5MG TABLET is not recommended for use during pregnancy as it may cause serious harm to the developing fetus.
