Dorzox Eye Drops 5ml is a specialized ophthalmic solution containing Dorzolamide 2%, designed to manage and alleviate the symptoms of glaucoma. By inhibiting the enzyme carbonic anhydrase, it reduces the production of aqueous humor in the eye, thereby lowering intraocular pressure. This helps prevent optic nerve damage and vision impairment. The drops are easy to apply, making them convenient for regular use. Patients are advised to follow their healthcare provider's instructions for dosage and administration to ensure optimal effectiveness and minimize potential side effects like burning or stinging sensations, blurred vision, and headaches.
Active Ingredient: Contains Dorzolamide 2%, an effective anti-glaucoma agent. Usage: Used to manage and reduce intraocular pressure in patients with glaucoma. Formulation: Available as a 5ml eye drop solution for easy application. Mechanism: Works by inhibiting carbonic anhydrase, reducing fluid production and pressure within the eye. Benefits: Helps prevent optic nerve damage and potential vision loss associated with glaucoma.
DORZOX EYE DROPS reduces pressure within the eye. It works by blocking the action of an enzyme called carbonic anhydrase within the eye, which is responsible for increasing eye pressure. By inhibiting this enzyme, DORZOX EYE DROPS decreases elevated pressure within the eyes and provides relief from symptoms of glaucoma, such as eye pain, headache, or blurred vision.
Use DORZOX EYE DROPS as advised by your physician. It is for ophthalmic use only. Wash your hands before and after application. Tilt your head slightly and gently pull the lower eyelid downwards. Instill a few drops of the medicine into the affected eye(s). Close your eyes and press the corner of your eye with your finger for a minute. Avoid touching the tip of the dropper with your eye or other body surfaces to prevent contamination. After applying DORZOX EYE DROPS, wait at least 5 minutes before applying other eye drops or ointments. If you wear soft contact lenses, remove the lens before applying DORZOX EYE DROPS and wait for at least 15 minutes before reinsertion. Your doctor will determine the correct dose and duration of therapy based on the severity of your condition. Do not stop using DORZOX EYE DROPS without consulting your doctor, as eye pressure may increase again.
