    ESOMAC D 20 MG TABLE

Esomac D 20mg Capsule combines Domperidone 30 mg and Esomeprazole 20 mg, used to treat peptic ulcers, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Domperidone, a prokinetic, blocks dopamine receptors to improve gut motility, reducing nausea and vomiting. Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, decreases gastric acid secretion, aiding ulcer healing and symptom relief. Taken orally, it should be ingested whole, ideally 30 minutes to 1 hour before meals. Common side effects include headache, nausea, and constipation. Patients with liver, kidney, or heart issues should consult a doctor before use. Regular monitoring is recommended for long-term users to prevent potential complications like bone fractures or electrolyte imbalances.

    Product Highlights and Usage:

Active Ingredients: Domperidone 30 mg and Esomeprazole 20 mg. Uses: Manages peptic ulcers, GERD, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Mechanism: Reduces stomach acid production and enhances gastrointestinal motility. Administration: Oral, taken 30 minutes to 1 hour before meals; swallow whole. Side Effects: Includes headache, diarrhea, stomach pain, constipation, flatulence, and nausea.

    How it works:

ESOMAC D 20MG CAPSULE contains two active ingredients: domperidone and esomeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic agent with anti-emetic properties. It works by inhibiting dopamine, a chemical messenger, in the gut, brain, and spinal cord. This inhibition stimulates the gut, reduces acid reflux, and accelerates the movement of food from the stomach to the intestines. Additionally, it blocks nerve signals between the vomiting centers and the brain, thereby reducing nausea and vomiting. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that decreases gastric acid secretion by blocking the H+K+ATPase enzyme (proton pump) in the stomach lining. By lowering stomach acid production, ESOMAC D 20MG CAPSULE helps manage ulcer progression, promotes healing of existing ulcers and esophageal lesions, and alleviates symptoms such as acidity, bloating, burping, and indigestion.

    Directions for use:

Take ESOMAC D 20MG CAPSULE 30 minutes to 1 hour before meals, or as directed by your physician. Swallow the capsule with a glass of water; do not crush or chew it. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment based on your age, body weight, and medical condition. Do not discontinue ESOMAC D 20MG CAPSULE without your doctor's guidance.
