Esomac L Capsule combines Esomeprazole 40 mg and Levosulpiride 75 mg to effectively treat Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) and peptic ulcers. Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, reduces gastric acid secretion, while Levosulpiride, a prokinetic agent, enhances gastrointestinal motility. This combination helps in reducing acid reflux symptoms and promotes healing of ulcers. Administered orally, the capsule should be swallowed whole, ideally 30 minutes before meals. Common side effects include headache, nausea, and constipation. Patients with liver, kidney, or heart issues should consult a doctor before use. Regular monitoring is recommended for long-term users to avoid potential complications like bone fractures or electrolyte imbalances. This medication is not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women and should be used with caution in elderly patients.

ESOMAC L CAPSULE helps treat peptic ulcers and acid reflux. It contains rabeprazole, which reduces stomach acid production by inhibiting the proton pump (H+ K+ ATPase) on the surface of gastric parietal cells, and levosulpiride, which blocks dopamine D2 receptors in the gut. This action stimulates the release of acetylcholine, facilitating gastric emptying and aiding in the healing of ulcers and esophageal lesions.
