    GEPRIDE M2 TAB

Gepride M2 Tablet is a combination medication containing Glimepiride and Metformin, used for managing Type II diabetes mellitus when diet, exercise, and single-agent therapy do not provide adequate glycemic control. Glimepiride stimulates insulin release from the pancreas, while Metformin reduces glucose production in the liver and increases insulin sensitivity. This dual-action helps maintain better blood sugar levels. The tablet is taken orally with meals to minimize gastrointestinal side effects. Patients should adhere to a prescribed diet and exercise regimen while on this medication. It is not recommended for individuals with type I diabetes, severe liver or kidney disease, or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Common side effects include taste disturbance, nausea, and stomach pain?.

    Product Highlights and Usage:

Active Ingredients: Contains Glimepiride 2 mg and Metformin 500 mg. Purpose: Manages Type II diabetes mellitus by improving blood glucose control. Usage: Oral administration, typically taken once daily with meals. Precautions: Not suitable for those with type I diabetes, severe kidney or liver issues, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Side Effects: Common side effects include taste disturbance, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, and vomiting.

    How it works:

GEPRIDE M2 TABLET helps manage blood glucose levels by utilizing two mechanisms: Glimepiride stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin, which lowers blood glucose levels.
