How it works:
OLSERTAIN AM TABLET effectively reduces elevated blood pressure through a dual mechanism. Amlodipine lowers blood pressure by blocking calcium entry into blood vessels through voltage-gated calcium channels, leading to relaxation of vascular smooth muscle, vasodilation, and a significant reduction in blood pressure.

Warning & Precaution:
PREGNANCY OLSERTAIN AM TABLET is not recommended for use in early pregnancy and should be avoided after the first trimester, as it may cause serious harm to your baby. Consult your doctor before using this medication. BREASTFEEDING OLSERTAIN AM TABLET may pass into breast milk in small amounts and is not recommended for breastfeeding women. DRIVING AND USING MACHINES Avoid driving or operating machinery if you experience dizziness, sleepiness, or headache after taking OLSERTAIN AM TABLET. KIDNEY OLSERTAIN AM TABLET is not recommended for patients with impaired kidney function and should be used with caution in those with kidney problems or a history of kidney transplant. LIVER OLSERTAIN AM TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver issues (such as biliary obstruction, gallstones, or jaundice) and should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. ALLERGY Do not use OLSERTAIN AM TABLET if you are allergic to olmesartan, amlodipine, or any other calcium channel blockers (e.g., nifedipine, nicardipine, or felodipine). HEART DISEASE OLSERTAIN AM TABLET is not recommended for patients with certain heart conditions (such as aortic stenosis, cardiogenic shock, circulatory failure, or heart attack). Consult your doctor for advice. USE IN PEDIATRICS OLSERTAIN AM TABLET is not recommended for children and adolescents (under 18 years) due to insufficient safety data.
