How it works:
OLVANCE CT 40MG TABLET effectively reduces elevated blood pressure. It works through two mechanisms: Olmesartan blocks the actions of Angiotensin II, a substance that causes narrowing of blood vessels and increases blood pressure, by targeting the angiotensin type-I receptors on vascular smooth muscle. Chlorthalidone increases urinary excretion of sodium and water by inhibiting sodium-chloride reabsorption in the kidneys, leading to a marked decrease in blood pressure.

LIVER OLVANCE CT 40MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver disease, jaundice (yellowing of skin and eyes), or biliary obstruction (a problem in bile drainage) and should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. ALLERGY Do not take OLVANCE CT 40MG TABLET if you are allergic to Chlorthalidone, Olmesartan, or any sulphonamide derivatives (e.g., sulfadiazine, sulfamethazine). HEART DISEASE OLVANCE CT 40MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with heart failure or heart attack, cardiogenic shock, narrowing of the aortic heart valve, or severe low blood pressure. It should be used with caution in patients with coronary or cerebral arteriosclerosis and obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (heart muscle becomes abnormally thick).
