Prazopress XL 2.5mg Tablet contains Prazosin, an alpha-blocker used to treat conditions like hypertension, heart failure, Raynaud’s disease, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men. By relaxing blood vessels, Prazopress XL 2.5mg helps reduce blood pressure, improve blood flow, and ease the heart's workload, making it effective in treating heart failure. For Raynaud’s disease, it promotes blood circulation to prevent cold and stiff fingers. In BPH, it relaxes the bladder and prostate muscles, facilitating easier urination. This medication should be used with caution in patients with kidney or liver disease and is contraindicated for children under 12 and those undergoing cataract surgery. Common side effects include dizziness, nausea, and headaches. Regular consultations with a healthcare provider are essential to monitor progress.
