Prazopress XL 5mg Tablet contains Prazosin, an alpha-blocker effective in treating hypertension, heart failure, Raynaud’s disease, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men. By relaxing blood vessels, it reduces blood pressure, enhances blood flow, and reduces the heart's workload, making it beneficial for heart failure. It also improves circulation in Raynaud’s disease and eases urinary symptoms in BPH by relaxing bladder and prostate muscles. This medication is not recommended for children under 12 and should be used with caution in patients with liver or kidney disease, or those undergoing cataract surgery. Common side effects include dizziness, nausea, and palpitations. Always follow the prescribed dosage and consult with your healthcare provider regularly to monitor progress and manage any adverse effects.

It reduces the risk of heart failure by acting on the main blood vessel, which helps the heart pump blood more effectively. It manages Raynaud's disease (painful cold fingers) by relaxing the blood vessels, improving blood flow to the fingers, and promoting circulation to alleviate cold and stiff fingers.
