OXRA 5MG TABLET is an SGLT-2 inhibitor that functions by blocking a protein known as SGLT-2 in the kidneys. This inhibition interferes with the reabsorption of glucose and sodium ions in the kidneys, resulting in the excretion of excess glucose through urine and a reduction in blood sugar levels. It also helps protect kidney function from further damage and alleviates strain on the heart, enabling it to pump blood more efficiently with reduced pressure.
