PANTAKIND TABLET is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the activity of a protein membrane known as H+K+ATPase (proton pump) in the stomach lining. This action helps to prevent the worsening of ulcers, promotes the healing of existing ulcers and esophageal lesions, and alleviates unpleasant gastrointestinal symptoms such as acidity, heartburn, and acid reflux.
Take PANTAKIND TABLET 30 minutes to 1 hour before meals or as directed by your physician. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, and avoid crushing or chewing it. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment based on your age, body weight, and medical condition. Do not discontinue PANTAKIND TABLET without your doctor's approval.
PREGNANCY PANTAKIND TABLET should be used in pregnant women only if deemed necessary by the physician. Consult your doctor before taking it. BREASTFEEDING PANTAKIND TABLET may pass through breast milk. Therefore, it should be used in breastfeeding women only if considered necessary by the physician. Consult your doctor for advice. DRIVING AND USING MACHINES PANTAKIND TABLET does not affect your ability to drive or handle heavy tools or machines. However, do not drive or operate heavy tools or machines if your ability is affected by PANTAKIND TABLET. ALCOHOL Avoid consuming alcohol while taking PANTAKIND TABLET, as it could aggravate your existing condition. KIDNEY PANTAKIND TABLET should be used with caution in patients with kidney problems. Consult your doctor before taking it. LIVER PANTAKIND TABLET should be used with caution in patients with liver problems. Consult your doctor before taking it. ALLERGY Do not take PANTAKIND TABLET if you are allergic to Pantoprazole.
