How it works:
PENTALOC IV INJECTION is a proton pump inhibitor. It reduces gastric acid secretion by blocking the actions of a protein membrane called H+K+ATPase (proton pump) across the stomach lining. As a result, it manages the worsening of ulcers, heals existing ulcers and esophageal lesions, and provides relief from unpleasant symptoms of the GI tract such as acidity, heartburn, and acid reflux.
Directions for use:
PENTALOC IV INJECTION will be administered to you only by a doctor or a nurse into the vein (intravenously). Your doctor will determine the correct dose and duration of therapy based on your age, body weight, and disease condition
