    PANTIN - RD

Pantin RD Tablet combines Domperidone and Pantoprazole to manage various gastrointestinal disorders. This medication treats peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and reflux esophagitis by reducing gastric acid secretion and enhancing food movement from the stomach to the intestines. It also alleviates symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, acidity, and heartburn. Suitable for adults and children over 12 years old, Pantin RD should be taken 15-30 minutes before meals for optimal effectiveness. Common side effects include dry mouth and constipation. Regular medical check-ups are advised to avoid severe side effects or interactions with other medications. Consult your healthcare provider for appropriate dosage and monitoring.

    Product Highlights and Usage:

Combination Therapy: Contains Domperidone (10 mg) and Pantoprazole (20 mg), addressing multiple gastrointestinal issues. Indications: Effective in treating peptic ulcers, GERD, reflux esophagitis, nausea, vomiting, and symptoms like acidity and heartburn. Mechanism of Action: Reduces gastric acid production and enhances food movement from the stomach to intestines, alleviating nausea and reflux symptoms. Usage: Suitable for adults and children (12 years or older, weighing 35 kg or more); taken 15-30 minutes before meals. Side Effects: Common effects include dry mouth, constipation, and flatulence. Serious side effects should be reported to a doctor immediately.

    How it works:

PANTIN RD TABLET contains two medicines: domperidone and pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic medicine with anti-emetic properties. It works by blocking the actions of dopamine, a chemical messenger, in the gut, brain, and spinal cord. This action stimulates the gut, reduces acid reflux, and speeds up the movement of food from the stomach into the intestines. It also inhibits the transmission of nerve signals between the vomiting centers and the brain, thus reducing nausea and vomiting. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor. It reduces gastric acid secretion by blocking the action of the H+K+ATPase (proton pump) in the lining of the stomach. By decreasing stomach acid production, PANTIN RD TABLET helps manage the worsening of ulcers, heals existing ulcers and esophageal lesions, and alleviates unpleasant symptoms of the GI tract, such as acidity, bloating, burping, and indigestion.
