    TROPINE INJ

Tropine Injection 1ml, containing Atropine, is used in emergency situations to restore normal heartbeat, manage pre-surgical salivary secretion, reverse muscle relaxant effects, and treat poisoning. It works by blocking acetylcholine, resulting in increased heart rate and decreased bodily secretions. It is administered by healthcare professionals through various routes. Common side effects include dry mouth and blurred vision. It should be used with caution in patients with specific medical conditions and under the guidance of a healthcare provider.

    Product Highlights and Usage:

Active Ingredient: Contains 0.6 mg of Atropine. Primary Uses: Restores normal heartbeat during cardiac arrest, reduces salivary secretions before surgery, reverses effects of muscle relaxants, and treats poisoning from insecticides or mushrooms. Administration: Administered intravenously, intramuscularly, subcutaneously, or via endotracheal tube by a healthcare professional. Precautions: Not suitable for individuals with closed-angle glaucoma, enlarged prostate, myasthenia gravis, or gut obstruction. Consult a doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding. Common Side Effects: Dry mouth, blurred vision, rapid heartbeat, constipation, and reduced sweating.

    How it works:

TROPINE is an antimuscarinic agent that restores cardiac activity and bodily functions by blocking the effects of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter responsible for various physiological functions. These include skeletal and smooth muscle contraction, increased body secretions, bowel movements, and decreased heart rate. By inhibiting acetylcholine, TROPINE stimulates skeletal muscles, increases heart rate, reduces body secretions such as saliva, sweat, bronchial and intestinal secretions, and bowel movements. This action is beneficial in restoring cardiac activity during conditions like cardiac arrest or poisoning, reducing salivary secretion during surgical procedures, and counteracting the effects of muscle relaxants to stimulate muscle movements.

    Directions for use:

TROPINE will be administered to you exclusively by a doctor or nurse, either intravenously, intramuscularly, subcutaneously, or via an endotracheal tube into the trachea. The appropriate dose and duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor based on factors such as your age, body weight, and the specific disease condition you are being treated for.
