How it works:
The RANIDOM RD 15/20MG TABLET contains two active ingredients: domperidone and esomeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic agent with anti-emetic effects. It works by blocking dopamine, a chemical messenger, in the gut and the brain and spinal cord. This action stimulates the digestive system, reduces acid reflux, and speeds up the passage of food from the stomach to the intestines. Additionally, it inhibits nerve signal transmission between the vomiting centers and the brain, thus lessening nausea and vomiting. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that decreases gastric acid production by inhibiting the H+K+ATPase protein (proton pump) in the stomach lining. By lowering stomach acid levels, RANIDOM RD 15/20MG TABLET helps manage ulcer progression, promotes healing of existing ulcers and esophageal lesions, and provides relief from gastrointestinal symptoms like acidity, bloating, burping, and indigestion.
Directions for use:
Take the RANIDOM RD 15/20MG TABLET 30 minutes to 1 hour before meals, or as directed by your physician. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water and avoid crushing or chewing it. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment based on your age, body weight, and medical condition. Do not discontinue use of RANIDOM RD 15/20MG TABLET unless advised to do so by your doctor.
Warning & Precaution:
PREGNANCY RANIDOM RD 15/20MG TABLET should be used in pregnant women only if considered necessary by the physician. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it. BREASTFEEDING RANIDOM RD 15/20MG TABLET may pass into breast milk. It is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless deemed necessary by the physician. DRIVING AND USING MACHINES RANIDOM RD 15/20MG TABLET does not typically affect your ability to drive or handle heavy tools or machines. However, do not drive or operate heavy tools or machines if your ability is affected by RANIDOM RD 15/20MG TABLET. ALCOHOL Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking RANIDOM RD 15/20MG TABLET, as it could aggravate your existing condition. KIDNEY RANIDOM RD 15/20MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with kidney problems. Consult your doctor before taking it. LIVER RANIDOM RD 15/20MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with moderate or severe liver impairment. It should be used with caution in patients with mild liver problems. Consult your doctor before taking it. ALLERGY Do not take RANIDOM RD 15/20MG TABLET if you are allergic to Domperidone, Esomeprazole, or any other proton pump inhibitors such as rabeprazole or pantoprazole. HEART DISEASE RANIDOM RD 15/20MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with heart problems such as QT wave prolongation, congestive heart failure, or arrhythmia.
