Reclimet XR Tablet combines Gliclazide and Metformin to effectively manage type II diabetes mellitus in adults. Gliclazide works by stimulating the pancreas to release more insulin, while Metformin decreases glucose production in the liver and increases insulin sensitivity. This dual-action approach helps to maintain optimal blood glucose levels, particularly in patients where diet and exercise alone have proven insufficient. Reclimet XR is not recommended for patients with type I diabetes, severe heart, kidney, or liver conditions, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Common side effects may include hypoglycemia, gastrointestinal issues, and skin reactions. Regular monitoring of blood glucose levels is crucial to adjust dosages and prevent severe hypoglycemia.
Active Ingredients: Gliclazide 60 mg, Metformin 500 mg. Indications: Used for managing type II diabetes mellitus in adults when diet and exercise alone are insufficient. Mechanism: Increases insulin secretion, enhances insulin sensitivity, and decreases hepatic glucose production. Contraindications: Not suitable for type I diabetes, severe heart, kidney, or liver disease, and during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Side Effects: Common side effects include hypoglycemia, gastrointestinal disturbances, metallic taste, skin reactions, and dizziness.
RECLIMET XR TABLET effectively manages blood glucose levels.
