REGESTRONE TABLET inhibits the release of pituitary hormones that trigger the production of female hormones like estrogen and progesterone, thereby suppressing ovulation. This effect alters the endometrial lining, helping to stop bleeding associated with menstrual abnormalities in cancer. REGESTRONE TABLET may work either by inhibiting pituitary function or by directly targeting tumor deposits.
