How it works:
RELENT COLD SYRUP helps relieve cold symptoms by combining two active ingredients: phenylephrine and chlorpheniramine. Phenylephrine works by acting on ?1-adrenergic receptors in the small vessels of the nasal mucosa, causing them to constrict, which decreases swelling and improves drainage of the sinus cavities, reducing nasal congestion. Chlorpheniramine binds to histamine H1 receptors, blocking the action of histamine and providing temporary relief from symptoms such as a runny nose, sneezing, and watery or itchy eyes caused by histamine release.
Directions for use:
Give RELENT COLD SYRUP to your child as directed by the physician. Shake the bottle well before use. Use a measuring cup to accurately measure the dose.
