Prolomet AM 50mg Tablet combines Amlodipine and Metoprolol to effectively manage hypertension. Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, relaxes and widens blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure. Metoprolol, a beta-blocker, reduces the heart's workload by slowing the heart rate and decreasing the force of contraction. This combination helps lower blood pressure and prevent complications like heart attacks and strokes. The tablet should be taken as prescribed, with or without food. Common side effects include dizziness, headache, tiredness, and nausea. Regular medical follow-ups are essential for monitoring treatment efficacy and safety.

PROLOMET AM 50MG TABLET helps to reduce high blood pressure. Amlodipine works by inhibiting the movement of calcium ions into both vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle, leading to relaxation of the blood vessels and improved blood flow to the heart muscles. Metoprolol works by reducing the force of contraction of the heart muscles by blocking the effects of certain hormones called adrenaline, making the heart beat more easily, thus lowering blood pressure.
