Prolomet T 50 Tablet combines Metoprolol and Telmisartan to effectively manage hypertension and reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications. Metoprolol, a beta-blocker, lowers heart rate and blood pressure by blocking certain chemical signals, while Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker, relaxes blood vessels to improve blood flow. This combination helps in reducing the overall strain on the heart and prevents conditions such as heart attacks and strokes. The tablet should be taken orally with water, as directed by a healthcare provider. Common side effects include dizziness, headache, tiredness, nausea, and a slow heart rate. Regular medical check-ups are recommended to monitor the effectiveness and adjust dosages as needed.

PROLOMET T 50 TABLET helps in managing high blood pressure. Metoprolol works by managing certain chemical messengers to bind their respective receptors in the heart and blood vessels, causing the heart to beat more slowly and with less force. Telmisartan blocks the effect of angiotensin II (a chemical messenger that narrows blood vessels), leading to the relaxation and widening of blood vessels, which results in lower blood pressure.
