It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping bacterial growth. The tablet is usually taken twice daily on an empty stomach. Always take ROXID 150MG TABLET as prescribed by your physician. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water on an empty stomach, ideally more than 3 hours after a meal. Do not chew or crush the tablet. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose based on your age, body weight, and the severity of the infection.
PREGNANCY The safety and efficacy of ROXID 150MG TABLET in an unborn child have not been established. Consult your doctor for advice before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or plan to get pregnant. BREASTFEEDING ROXID 150MG TABLET is not recommended for use during breastfeeding as it may pass into breast milk. DRIVING AND USING MACHINES Do not drive or operate any machines if you experience dizziness, blurred vision, or visual impairment after taking ROXID 150MG TABLET. KIDNEY ROXID 150MG TABLET should be taken with caution in patients with impaired kidney function. LIVER ROXID 150MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severely impaired liver function (such as liver cirrhosis with jaundice or ascites). ALLERGY Do not take ROXID 150MG TABLET if you are allergic to Roxithromycin, macrolide antibiotics (such as azithromycin, erythromycin, or clarithromycin), or any other ingredients of this medicine. HEART DISEASE ROXID 150MG TABLET should be taken with caution in patients with heart disease, such as congenital prolonged QT interval.
