    ROXID 300 MG TAB

Roxid 300mg Tablet is a macrolide antibiotic containing 300 mg of Roxithromycin, used to treat a range of bacterial infections, including those affecting the respiratory tract, skin, and soft tissues. Roxithromycin works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria, effectively stopping their growth and spread. Typically, the tablet is taken once or twice daily on an empty stomach to enhance absorption. While generally well-tolerated, common side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. It is important to use this medication with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment, and it is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women without medical advice. Regular monitoring may be necessary for prolonged use.

    Product Highlights and Usage:

Active Ingredient: Contains 300 mg of Roxithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic. Indications: Treats mild to moderately severe bacterial infections, including respiratory and skin infections. Mechanism of Action: Inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, halting their growth. Dosage and Administration: Usually taken once or twice daily, before food or on an empty stomach. Side Effects: Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain.

    How it works:

ROXID 300MG TABLET works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria. It penetrates the bacterial cell wall and binds to the 50S ribosomal subunit, disrupting bacterial growth. This action effectively stops the bacteria from multiplying and spreading the infection.
