How it works:
SEROFLO 125 INHALER is a combination of two medicines: fluticasone and salbutamol. - Fluticasone is an inhaled corticosteroid that blocks the release of chemical messengers in the airways, such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes, which are responsible for inflammation and swelling. - Salmeterol is a bronchodilator that relaxes the smooth muscles in the airways, leading to widening of the airways. Directions for use:
Use SEROFLO 125 INHALER as directed by your doctor and continue using it until instructed otherwise. This medication is for inhalation only—inhale it through your mouth, not your nose. Follow the instructions provided in the enclosed leaflet: 1. Prime the Device: Release two puffs of the medication into the air to prime the inhaler. 2. Prepare for Inhalation: Place the mouthpiece between your teeth and close your lips tightly around it. 3. Inhale:Breathe in slowly and deeply through your mouth while pressing down firmly on the canister to release a puff of medication. 4. Hold Your Breath: Remove the inhaler from your mouth and hold your breath for about 10 seconds or as long as comfortable. 5. Wait Between Puffs: Wait about 30 seconds before taking another puff if prescribed. 6. Clean Up: After inhaling, wipe the mouthpiece with a dry tissue and close the inhaler. Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out or brush your teeth to prevent oral irritation.
