How it works:
SEROFLO 250 CIPHALER combines two medicines: fluticasone and salbutamol. Fluticasone is an inhalation corticosteroid that blocks the release of inflammatory chemicals, such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes, in the airways. This action reduces inflammation and swelling. Salmeterol is a bronchodilator that relaxes the smooth muscles of the airways, causing them to widen. Together, these medications help to reduce airway inflammation and improve airflow, making breathing easier.
Directions for use:
Use SEROFLO 250 CIPHALER as directed by your physician. Follow your doctor's instructions closely regarding the number of inhalations and dosing intervals. 1. Open the device and hold it so that the mouthpiece faces you. 2. Slide the lever beside the mouthpiece up to the marking or as far as it will go. 3. Move the device away from your mouth and exhale fully. Do not breathe into the device. Place the mouthpiece between your lips, ensuring a tight seal. 4. Inhale steadily and deeply through your mouth, not through your nose. 5. Remove the device from your mouth and hold your breath for about 10 seconds or as long as is comfortable. 6. Exhale gently. 7. If another dose is needed, wait 30 seconds and repeat the steps. 8. Wipe the mouthpiece with a dry tissue and close the device after use. 9. After inhalation, rinse your mouth with water or brush your teeth. The device will automatically reduce the number of doses loaded, which can be checked on the dose counter. Your doctor will determine the correct dose and duration based on your age, body weight, and the severity of your condition. Do not stop using SEROFLO 250 CIPHALER or adjust the dose without consulting your doctor, as it could worsen your breathing.
