2.5mg Tablet is a combination of Metoprolol and Amlodipine, which are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Metoprolol is a beta-blocker that reduces heart rate and the force of heart muscle contraction, while Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels for easier blood flow. This combination helps in lowering blood pressure, reducing the risk of cardiovascular events such as stroke and heart attack. Patients should take this medication as prescribed by their physician, usually once daily with water. It is essential to avoid grapefruit and its juice while taking this medication as it may increase the blood pressure-lowering effect. Common side effects include dizziness, headache, and tiredness. Patients with severe heart, liver, or kidney issues, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women, should consult their doctor before use.

REVELOL AM 25/2.5MG TABLET helps to reduce high blood pressure. Amlodipine works by inhibiting the movement of calcium ions into both vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle, which relaxes the blood vessels and improves blood flow to the heart muscles, leading to lower blood pressure. Metoprolol works by reducing the force of contraction of the heart muscles and blocking the effects of certain hormones called adrenaline, making the heart beat more easily and thus lowering the blood pressure.
