How it works:
SIGMADERM N CREAM contains three active ingredients: beclomethasone, clotrimazole, and neomycin. Beclomethasone is a steroid that reduces inflammation and swelling by inhibiting certain chemicals in the body that cause these reactions, while also promoting the release of chemicals that aid in healing. Clotrimazole is an antifungal that works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes. Without ergosterol, the membranes become weakened and leaky, leading to fungal cell damage. Neomycin is an antibiotic that interferes with bacterial protein synthesis, which is essential for bacterial survival. This disruption halts bacterial growth and replication, thereby controlling the spread of bacterial infections.
