How it works:
SINAREST AF NEW SYRUP relieves cold symptoms by combining two active ingredients. Phenylephrine works by decreasing nasal congestion through its action on ?1-adrenergic receptors in the small vessels of the nasal mucosa. This action causes constriction of these vessels, reducing swelling and promoting drainage of the sinus cavities. Chlorpheniramine, on the other hand, is an antihistamine that binds to the histamine H1 receptor, blocking its action.
