Systaflam Gel 50gm is an anti-inflammatory gel designed to relieve pain and inflammation associated with conditions such as sprains, strains, and arthritis. It is quickly absorbed, providing targeted relief directly to the affected area without leaving a greasy residue. Suitable for daily use, this gel helps manage discomfort in muscles and joints effectively. Always consult a healthcare provider for proper usage and to minimize potential side effects like skin irritation. It is used to manage mild to moderate muscle and joint pains (sprains, strains, bruises, backache, sports injuries) contusions, post-traumatic pain, tendonitis (tennis elbow) and osteoarthritis pain in the knees. Diclofenac sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory with analgesic properties. It inhibits the enzyme, cyclooxygenase (COX), which is an early component of the arachidonic acid cascade, resulting in the reduced formation of prostaglandins, thromboxanes and prostacylin.

How it works:
SYSTAFLAM is a phenylacetic acid derivative that inhibits cyclooxygenase activity, resulting in the suppression of prostaglandin synthesis and other inflammation mediators.
Directions for use:
Use SYSTAFLAM exactly as your doctor advises. It is for external use only. Check the label for directions before use. Apply a thin layer to the affected area 3 to 4 times daily and rub gently. Before using, remove the safety seal from the tube. Squeeze a small amount of gel evenly. Clean and dry the skin, then apply the gel to the directed areas, using your hands to gently rub it in. Ensure the entire affected area is covered. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the gel, unless treating your hands. If applying to your hands, do not wash them for at least one hour after application.
Warning & Precaution:
PREGNANCY SYSTAFLAM should generally be avoided during the last three months of pregnancy unless absolutely necessary. Be sure to discuss the potential risks and benefits with your doctor. BREASTFEEDING SYSTAFLAM is not advised for use in breastfeeding women unless essential. Consult with your doctor to weigh the risks and benefits.
